 Research unit:

One of the important elements in the development and promotion of the country is scientific research and the creation of new scientific fields. In order to do a correct research, it is necessary to take steps carefully, with a strong planning and supervision.
One of the main goals of School of Nutritional Science and Dietetics is to develop a high quantity and quality research, targeted and updated in line with the priorities of the university. This unit supports tasks such as writing books and articles – doing scientific research by school members and researchers.

Research-based problem solving:

Designing proposal of interventions to control overweight and obesity and people living in an area measuring its efficiency in Tehran: a community trial
 
• School Research Policies:

1- Doing research projects in accordance with national and regional policies
2- Increasing operational research projects for executive agencies
3- Doing Fundamental research projects
4- publishing scientific books and articles
5- Patent and scientific contributions

Research Activities:

1- Evaluation of Research Projects submitted to the committee
2- Approving the Projects after the resolution of their potential defects
3- The final report on the follow-up plan

Future plans:

Conducting new infrastructure

3- Clinical Laboratory

Development of human resources

1- Up taking of efficient manpower in the field of research
